One of my favorite dishes. My grandmother always made two kinds of kubba on Mondays, and my best friend - who is Danish and never saw any food like this in her home - would just happen to "stop by" for a visit on her way home from University. She shared many a kubba dinner with us.

And of course my grandmother would always regale us with stories of the quality of kubba made by all her friends and relatives - she makes it hard, she doesn't know how to do it; she makes it nice and soft, so good.....who knew Iraqi grandmothers could be so competitive!
