I&#039;ll tell you my own Harissa story. My sister, who lives in Israel is married to a Tunisian. Now, he loves &quot;hot&quot;. I spent Passover with them a few years ago and when I first came into the apartment, my brother in law led me to the refrigerator to show me the harissa he had made. Well, he removed the cover and I nearly fell backward!! It was so hot that even he couldn&#039;t eat it! They must have gotten an exceptionally hot batch of hot peppers. All my nieces and nephew love it hot too. Thankfully my family is mostly Hungarian so we can deal with hot too, otherwise I don&#039;t knew how this marriage would have worked!!</description>
